Student Records Manager

As part of Student and Academic Services, Student Records sits within the Academic Operations team and manages the business side of the student record infrastructure (SITS), registration and graduation. The team are looking for an experienced manager to head up this team of five.

Responsibilities

The Student Records Manager leads the Student Records Team, managing registration and the registry side of graduation for the University and ensuring all business processes linked to the Student Record System (SITS) are functioning well. The post holder is required to continuously assess operational effectiveness of the student records function to ensure they are efficient, effective and sufficiently flexible to meet the changing requirements of the University, with formal reporting undertaken regularly to enhance continuous improvement.

Person Specification

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident manager who will bring excellent project management skills, meticulous attention to detail and an ability to instigate new and innovative approaches to our existing processes. The post-holder will have experience of a student record system and leading a team of skilled administrative staff to maintain high levels of customer service. The post-holder will have a proven track record of initiating and leading change and to have the ability to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation.
